About
Laura Arteaga Charlton is a visual artist/printmaker based in south Florida. She studied painting at the NeueKUNSTschule in Basel, Switzerland, and earned a BFA in fine arts with a minor in German Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2010. Laura lived in New York City for nearly a decade and held many jobs in the art world, including museum conservation framer and fine art edition printer.
Laura’s work has been shown in New York at Future Fair with Arden + White Gallery, International Print Center (IPCNY), Planthouse, Transmitter, E/AB Fair, The Painting Center, Kunsthalle Galapagos, and at Rule Gallery Denver/Marfa, Gallery Oneoneone in Chapel Hill NC, and Southern Graphics Conference International. Her work has been shown internationally in Marseille, Vienna, and London, and featured on numerous TV and Film sets. Her original monoprints are in private collections all over the world. She has been an artist in residence at Vermont Studio Center and Look & Listen in Marseille, France.
